Here are the most frequently asked questions, if you're looking to find out something, then most likely it's on this page.

  • Is there a cost if we cant agree a price?


    You pay absolutely nothing at any time!!

  • When are you open?


    Monday to Friday: 12pm - 6pm
    Saturday: 12pm - 5pm
    Sunday: 12pm - 4pm

  • Your local office is not that close to me?


    Then why not call us and we can discuss your vehicle over the phone

  • I owe finance on my car?


    Its a very regular and simple process, most finance companies, due to Data Protection regulations, insist you obtain your settlement in writing on our behalf, you can write to them yourself or we have a ready form for you to fill in and send to them to make it easier for you, once the reply is received we will settle the outstanding finance .

  • Do you buy cars with private number plates?


    We’ll be happy to give you a valuation for your car, but cannot buy your car whilst it has a personalised registration. The good news is that it’s easy to reassign a personalised registration to another car or to put the registration onto a retention certificate so that it can be sold or reassigned at a later date.

  • do not have a V5 registration document?


    We cannot purchase any car without an original V5 document (log book) as without this we cannot check your ownership of your car. You should write to DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AR and it normally takes 3 to 4 weeks to obtain a new V5. For our security we can only pay the owner of the car and not a third party.

  • Do you buy imported cars?


    We buy imported cars too. An imported car is one that was registered in another country before being sent to the UK, it will make this clear in the V5 (log book)

  • how will you pay for my car?


    We can write a cheque or arrange a bankers draft or even a CHAPs bank payment, its up to you.

  • I have children and will have to bring them with me to the valuation?


    All our offices have play areas for children so they can play whilst you sit on a comfy sofa with a tea or coffee!

  • Will there be any fee or cost for valuing my car?


    No, we charge no fees, we will simply make an offer and if you are not satisfied you can leave and hopefully come back another time, if not and you sell it elsewhere thats fine too.
